Garrett Clinton

Garrett Clinton is the host of Lumina’s Financial Literacy Summit and an advocate for expanding access to investing knowledge across culture, community, and capital.
He is currently an investor at Westbound Equity, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Makena Capital, a fund of funds spun out of Stanford Management Company. At Makena, he helped manage endowment and foundation portfolios across the country, led key firm and portfolio strategy initiatives, and supported the firm’s venture capital efforts by underwriting co-investments, sourcing deals, and building relationships with next-generation fund managers.
Garrett holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and is an MBA candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
